Bishop Gorman Fund
Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of a Bishop Gorman education. Alumni, faculty, staff, family, and friends make annual BG Fund donations to promote excellence across all programs, to provide tuition assistance for deserving students, and to meet our school’s most pressing needs. The BG Fund is the lifeblood of Bishop Gorman Catholic School, fueling our mission to provide an exceptional, faith-based education. Your generous support directly impacts every aspect of our students’ experience, from classroom innovation to spiritual growth. Will you please help now?

Dear friend of Bishop Gorman,
The Camino de Santiago, or in English the Way of St. James, is a network of pilgrims’ ways leading to the shrine of the apostle James in the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in northwestern Spain, where tradition holds that the remains of the apostle are buried. Many still follow its routes as a form of spiritual path or retreat for their spiritual growth. It has been declared to be one of the three great pilgrimages of Christendom, along with Jerusalem, and the Via Francigena to Rome. (Excerpts from Wikipedia’s “Camino de Santiago”)
I will walk and pray for Bishop Gorman Catholic School in Tyler, Texas. Since 1958, our school has been through many changes. The one constant is Jesus Christ. He is the reason for Bishop Gorman Catholic School.
Thank you!
Your sister in Christ, Rachel Cammack

P. S. Read on for the value of a Bishop Gorman Catholic School education.
At Bishop Gorman I absolutely loved being a part of multiple athletic teams. Each team I participated in brought forth new friendships and a development of character, while representing my school. 2021 Graduate
Camaraderie and college expectations. I learned what to expect from college level classes and how to complete that type of coursework to the fullest of my abilities. 2022 Graduate
Being non-Catholic in denomination, I can certainly say that this education was worth it. Gorman sets you up for success. You learn the value of being honorable, build virtuous relationships, and overall, have Christ in the center of your education. Bishop Gorman is different. Having gone to public school, Gorman teaches you to challenge your thoughts, and to stand firm in what you believe in. 2023 Graduate
I came to Gorman as a junior who had some mediocre goals set because I believed that’s all I was capable of, and my teachers, coaches and classmates saw that I had more to give and pushed me towards that. A Gorman education has given me my closest friends, a phenomenal education, and people who care about me as a student and know that my identity is in Christ and nothing else.
