About
What’s in Store
The Armstrong Benefit will be a lively and interactive evening at a beautiful venue — bringing our community together for connection, conversation, and purpose.
Before the evening begins, we wanted to share a brief update. Our originally scheduled speaker, Dr. Maryanne Wolf, has experienced a health emergency. We’re grateful to share that she is recovering well, and we look forward to partnering with her at a future Armstrong event.
In the meantime, we feel incredibly fortunate to have a truly inspiring guest joining us. Meghan Buchanan has graciously stepped in as our featured speaker, and we’re excited for you to hear her story.
Meghan is a neurodivergent aerospace engineer, adventure athlete, author, and motivational speaker. As the first rocket scientist to climb the Seven Summits—and currently pursuing the Adventurers’ Grand Slam—she brings a powerful perspective on resilience and possibility. Diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD as a child, Meghan went on to earn both her BS and MS in engineering and now works on the next generation of GPS technology as a Senior Principal Engineer. Through her GGRIT™ framework (Gratitude, Growth, Resilience, Integrity, Tenacity), she inspires others to transform challenges into strength and purpose.
The evening’s festivities begin at 6:00 pm with a warm and lively reception featuring delicious food, specialty cocktails, and a strolling performance by magician, mentalist, and fellow dyslexic, Theron Schaub.
Why Sponsor?
This year, sponsorships will directly support Armstrong’s Tuition Assistance Program and Research Partnerships, replacing traditional auction fundraising during the event.
Our goal is $250,000 raised in advance of the event, allowing the evening to focus on inspiration, learning, and community.
We invite you to give generously today!
