A new school year has begun—welcome back to campus for the 2026–27 Breck school year!
The hum of excitement is growing louder in the hallways as the campus churns with activity once again. There is so much to look forward to: welcoming new students and faculty; making new friends; exploring new classes; cheering on our Golden Mustangs; applauding our performers; marveling at new art; investigating new problems; debating current issues; lifting our voices in chapel; building community; and so much more—we cannot wait to get started!
This school year holds extra special significance: 2026 marks Breck’s 140th year! From our founding in Wilder, MN to our thriving campus today in Golden Valley, we take great pride in our legacy of excellence. Throughout this milestone year, we invite our community to honor our rich history while looking boldly toward the future and preparing the next generation of visionary leaders.

Honoring Two Extraordinary Breck Educators - 2 months ago
This year, at the faculty’s closing Chapel, we celebrated a combined 67 years of transformative teaching as we bid a heartfelt farewell to Brad Peterson in the Upper School Math Department and Claudette Laureano in the Music Department. These two deeply devoted and beloved faculty members have shaped the lives of hundreds of Breck students across multiple decades.
