Walk 2023

The Walkathon is Central Catholic’s sole, student-based fundraiser to benefit the school and is supported by the Parents Guild and the Student Council.

The route is a two-mile walk around the city, and each student is asked to raise $75 in sponsorships.

The money raised is used to help pay for initiatives that are not covered by tuition, helping to stretch the operating budget and keep tuition down while enhancing the educational experience of students. This year, Walk will be paying for a prayer garden located on the Hampshire Street side of campus.

The Parents Guild and corporate sponsors help underwrite the cost of the event so that student-sponsorships can be used to make improvements that directly benefit the students.

The CCHS Walkathon has raised nearly $2 million since 2000, funding important initiatives that directly impact the student experience.

This year’s Walk will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023.
