All In for Armstrong!
A Campaign to Unlock Potential
About
Charles Armstrong School is about to begin a transformational new chapter — one that will change the lives of students with dyslexia for generations to come.
For 58 years, Armstrong has helped students discover their strengths, build confidence, and experience the joy of learning in an environment designed for how they learn best. Now, with City of Belmont approval secured, we are preparing to break ground on the first major campus expansion in our school’s history.
Beginning May 26, construction will start on our new Academic Wing — a space intentionally designed to help students thrive. The new building will include 14 purpose-built learning spaces, including the Patrick Moore Art Studio, expanded Music, Movement, and Makerspace rooms, a second Science Lab, and flexible classrooms and small-group instructional spaces that strengthen the heart of our Structured Literacy and Math programs. The Academic Wing is expected to open for the 2027–2028 school year.
But this project is about far more than new buildings.
It is about creating more opportunities for students with dyslexia to feel understood, capable, and successful. It is about reaching more families who are searching for the right educational environment for their child. And it is about ensuring Armstrong can continue leading the way in dyslexia education for decades to come.
Through the historic All In for Armstrong Campaign, our community has already raised $21.3 million toward the $24 million Phase 1 project cost. Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of early supporters, this vision is becoming reality.
Now, we invite the broader Armstrong community to help carry this momentum forward.
Every gift helps create spaces where students can grow in confidence, discover their potential, and build the skills that will shape their futures.
Join us in building a legacy that will transform lives and unlock potential for generations to come.
