2026 CWA Founders' Day

Overview of Events

Community Breakfast | 7:30-8:30 a.m. | Middle School Commons

We hope our current students, families, faculty, staff and the Board of Trustees will start their day with us in the Middle School Murray Commons for our Founders’ Day Community Breakfast. We’ll have a menu of scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon, potatoes, fresh fruit, coffee, juice, and pastries available. We will also have vegetarian proteins available.

All-School Assembly |1:30pm-2:30pm | Wight Gym

Featuring student performances and the presentation of the Alumni of the Year (AOY) & Inspirational Faculty Award. Additionally, we will honor members of our Society of Elders who are in attendance. This assembly is open to past Alumni of the Year recipients, Society of Elders, as well as, past Inspirational Faculty Award recipients and their families.

Founders Day Reception | 2:45pm-4:30pm | Heartl Track & Field

Following the assembly we will head to the Heartl Track & Field for the Founders’ Day Afternoon Reception featuring music, food and beverages, and activities. We’ll have a brief program led by Director of Development & Alumni Relations, De’Andre Jones. This reception will be for all members of the community but with a special invite to those former AOY award recipients, Inspirational Faculty award recipients, and members of the Society of Elders.

We look forward to welcoming you back to campus for this beloved tradition in honor of Sam & Nathalie Brown and to celebrate the incredible accomplishments of our community!
