About
As we settle into our beautiful new campus—our permanent home at last—many of our classrooms are still filled with desks and chairs that have served faithfully for decades, some even making the move with us from our earliest days. Now it’s time for a fresh start. While a couple of our classrooms have already experienced an upgrade, the majority have not. Over the next few years, we’re refreshing our learning spaces one classroom at a time with new desks, new chairs, and new teacher furnishings—replacing pieces that no longer function and creating environments that truly support students’ best work. Because if we want them to flourish, we know the space around them matters. These are the rooms where habits form, focus grows, and daily learning takes root.
Outfitting a full classroom can range from $6,000 and upward, depending on what that room needs and which pieces are still going strong. Upper‑division classrooms tend to be higher because of the cost of lecture‑style tables. For our littlest learners, we’re excited to introduce round and wavy‑shaped tables that make group learning more natural and developmentally appropriate.
The encouraging news: this vision is more achievable than it first appears. We’re working closely with a company helping us design our “perfect classrooms,” and the costs are more affordable than we anticipated. We’ve included a few sample pieces to show the shapes, sizes, and styles we’re imagining.
One classroom at a time, we’re committed to creating learning environments that help every student shine.
