About
At Franklin Classical School, all gifts to the FCS Fund through December 31 will be directed toward one of the most transformative elements of a classical education: the great books that have formed thoughtful, virtuous leaders for generations.
Through a fun class challenge and meaningful year-end giving opportunity, our entire community can help equip classrooms with high-quality literature and textbooks. As we look toward the future, our next major campus priority is raising the estimated $1.5 million needed to complete the third floor of Windcross, including essential new classrooms and a dedicated library. While that larger project remains ahead of us, we can begin now by ensuring every student has access to the books that form the heart of a classical Christian education and the soul of a child. Every gift made to the FCS Fund by the end of the year will directly support the purchase of classroom literature and textbooks in the new year, providing resources that will benefit students today while laying the foundation for the learning spaces of tomorrow.
Through December 31st, every gift equips students with great books while unlocking class rewards:
$1,000 — The class unlocks a special reward of 15 extra minutes of recess or lunch for students to enjoy together.
$2,000 — The class unlocks the opportunity to dress casually for an additional Spirit Wear Day.
$3,500 (by Giving Tuesday, December 1) - The class unlocks a festive Cookie Decorating Party and Christmas Photo Keepsake celebration, creating fun memories to kick off the holiday season.
$5,000 - The class unlocks the ultimate celebration as students help prepare the whipped cream pies that their teachers will use to pie our Dean, Dr. Charlton!
$10,000 - The class unlocks a food truck to visit campus (free for the winning class).
$15,000 - Name a Classroom: Under the teacher’s guidance, when this milestone is reached by the class they will have the opportunity to vote on a beloved author, literary figure, or classic title to become the namesake of their classroom. A custom plaque will be displayed outside the room, creating a meaningful tradition that celebrates the books and characters shaping our students’ imaginations.
All donations are fully tax-deductible. Franklin Classical School is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Class thermometers will appear after the first two donations are received. Grade-level classes will combine their totals to reach shared goals together. The images featured at the top of the page are based on designs our architect has confirmed are possible within our existing Windcross space, offering a glimpse of the future library and learning spaces we hope to build. We are looking for families to dream with us and help make this vision a reality.
