Join us for Lancer Middle School Math Camp! This is a week of inspirational math, where students entering 6th, 7th and 8th grade will develop a math mindset designed to inspire learning.

The week will center around three themes— algebraic problem solving, the visualization of mathematics, and making connections between representations and ideas. We will also focus on the fact that everyone can do well in math; that mistakes, struggle and persistence are all important.

During the week, students will experience the pleasure of actually doing mathematics: thinking slowly and deeply about a problem, finding patterns, sharing conjectures and exploring ideas. If you are interested in completing mathematical challenging tasks with fellow students, be sure to sign up.
