Knights Baseball

Spring is right around the corner, and we are gearing up for another exciting season of Knights Baseball! This will be my 28th year as the head coach of our Lafayette Central Catholic Knight baseball program. I am very proud of our success and am extremely thankful for all of the players and coaches that have built our program into the most successful baseball program in Indiana! In all, our baseball program has won 20 Sectionals, 17 Regionals, made 14 State Finals appearances and won an Indiana record nine state championships. I hope that you are just as proud to call yourself a former Knight baseball player as I am!

Beautiful Gordon Leming Field was named the National High School Baseball Coaches Association’s National High School Field of the Year in 2019. Needless to say, many people have had a hand in building our baseball facility and program over the years. We strive to make field improvements every year and annually host the IHSAA Sectional and Regional tournaments.

The projects that we are raising money for this year include a complete home plate area renovation ($7,900), a complete mound renovation ($4,350), new scoreboard ($40,000 project with $15,000 left after donation from one donor), new set of pinstripe uniforms ($4,000) and our spring break baseball retreat/training to Cincinnati ($2,500). Any amount that you are able to give is much appreciated.
