2017 Annual Fund

The Magnet foundation uses the Annual Fund to to fund educational grants, for example:

(1) Classroom supplies and equipment. Grants fulfilled in the past year under this category:

• Band Saw for R&E: $1,200
• Chemical Storage Cabinets: $2,000
• Minitab Statiscial Software: $960

(2) Underwriting cost of student participation in academic competitions. Grants fulfilled in the past year under this category:

• ARML registration fee: $2,000
• ACSL All-Star Competition: $2,500
• Science Olympiad registration fee: $450

(3) Teacher development. Grants fulfilled in the past year under this category:

• Biennial Conference on Chemical Education: $270
• Granta CES EduPack Workshop: $550
• Digital Harbor Making for Educators: $785
