Calling all Monks!
We invite you to join us for our second annual Virtual Monks 5K during the weekend of October 8-11! Run, walk, skip, or hop your way to the finish line outside or inside to support the Community Rising Initiative. Thinking a Netflix marathon sounds more your speed? No problem, you can still make a gift of any size to make a difference!
What is a Virtual 5K?
It’s an event that can be completed on your own time and in your own space or place – your neighborhood, backyard, treadmill, or living room. Run, walk, skip, dance, or jump your way to the finish line!
Register online to receive SJC swag and a downloadable race bib.
- Train if you wish!
- Wear your favorite Monks gear!
- Complete the mileage over the weekend.
- Challenge fellow Monks!
- Upload your pictures to social media and tag us and use #Monks5K

- Most Creative Run - (example spell out SJC via your route and post a photo)
- Most Intense Run – show us your elevation increase
- Fastest Monk – post your time
