Each year, 8th grade families come together to leave a meaningful legacy gift that will remain part of The Orchard School for years to come. The Class of 2026 is proud to continue this tradition by commissioning a beautiful bronze owl sculpture that will stand outside the Middle School entrance.
For many students, their Orchard journey begins with a photo beside the beloved cement owl at the Early Childhood entrance. This new bronze owl — a symbol of wisdom and growth — will offer graduating students a special place to mark the end of their Orchard experience and celebrate how far they’ve come. It represents both their beginning and their transition to the next chapter.
All 8th grade families are invited to make a gift in honor of their graduating student and the Class of 2026. Together, these collective contributions will bring this lasting tribute to life and create a tradition future Owls will cherish for years to come.
