Own a piece of Doane Rowing HISTORY! This sweep oar is approximately 25-30 years old and once retired, was proudly displayed in the McBride Boathouse, greeting all who entered. The oar was taken down to make additional boat space, and its blade was lovingly repainted in the Blue & White to restore its former glory.

The oar is a LENGTH Concept2 Carbon Fiber shaft, with the original wooden handle (no squishy neoprene grips on this one!).

The winner of this auction has options for displaying this memorabilia, including:

• Hang it on a wall

• Remove length from the middle to fit a smaller area, or

• Separate the blade and shaft, repurposing the shaft as a handrail and displaying the blade on a wall or shelf.
