Product Description
A rare find! Newly painted in Doane Blue & White. Helmut Schoenbrod, founder of Schoenbrod Racing Shells, was among the first to mass-produce fiberglass racing shells in the early 1970s after spending years building fully wooden hulls. It has been said there isn’t a boathouse in the United States that hasn’t housed a Schoenbrod on a rack.
Schoenbrod shells haven’t been produced for four decades, so this is a very special vintage seat for a rowing fan. The two seat holes make it easy to display a piece of rowing history on your wall or desk. A unique conversation starter!
