Gallery Piece: This 16x20 oil painting was generously donated to the VCES Auction by local artist Boris Tyomkin.

Boris Tyomkin’s artwork is heavily influenced by the Russian school of painting, which emerged in the latter half of the nineteenth century. His work has been exhibited in galleries in New York and California. Active in the local artist communities of the areas where he has lived, Tyomkin studied under Russian painters and earned an MFA from the New York Academy of Art (NYAA).
