About

In 2023, Proctor’s new Campus Master Plan identified the Health Center as the physical heart of Proctor’s campus. Nestled between the Johnson Family Sugar House and the Proctor Pond, nearly every student interacts with the Health Center and our health and well-being support staff each day. Through the generosity of the Bicknell Family and the Stonesthrow Fund, Proctor’s Health and Well-Being Center and endowed programming will provide comprehensive and integrated health care addressing the mental well-being, emotional, and physical health needs of the Proctor community.

Construction on the new Health and Well-Being Center is well under way with a completion date of August 2026 ahead of the 2026-2027 school year. With nearly 95% of funds raised for this project and accompanying endowment, we invite the entire Proctor community to join us in supporting this initiative.

Leading in Health and Well-Being

Taking a page from our motto, “Live to Learn, Learn to Live”, Proctor will expand programming and offerings in order for students to learn “how to be well in the world.” Through a nurturing and inviting space and providing integrated health services, individual and group counseling, and well-being programming, the provides a space that empowers students with the tools and resources needed to achieve optimal health and well-being while tackling the challenges of adolescence, leading to increased resilience, self-awareness, and success in their lives both within and outside of the Proctor community. Our work ensures students are afforded opportunities to experience and practice well-being initiatives within the Proctor Community while building healthy lifelong habits.
