15th Annual Dinner for the Troops

The Dinner for the Troops has a proud history as a fundraiser event at CBA, being held since 2007 in honor of LT Dennis W. Zilinski II ‘00, a CBA and West Point alumnus who was killed in action in Iraq in 2005. Since LT Zilinski was part of the CBA community, the members of SADD see it as very important to keep his legacy alive. Last year’s Dinner for the Troops was an extraordinarily successful event, and we are hoping for another great night this year.

The Dinner for the Troops will be held on Tuesday 12/10 at 6 PM in the Byrne Dining Hall. All proceeds from the event are being contributed to our current and former deployed service members. The proceeds are typically used to purchase supplies for units deployed overseas, and to help fund the training of a service dog for a veteran suffering from post-traumatic stress. All of the funds raised at the dinner go to these incredibly worthy causes.

The members of SADD and I would be honored to see as many members of the CBA community as possible at our event on Tuesday. It is a great way to connect with the school community and support a very worthy cause at the same time. Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door, for $20 for adults, and $15 for students, children, and senior citizens.
