About
Founders Giving Day | November 11, 2026
Sixty years ago, founder Barbara Young Simms brought Sandia Prep to life. Today, her legacy continues every time a student takes an intellectual risk, discovers a new passion, steps onto a stage or field, or finds a place to belong.
For six decades, Sandia Prep has grown through the dedication of its educators and the generosity of a community that believes in the power of education.
On November 11, join alumni, parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, and friends in celebrating our 60th anniversary. Your gift helps sustain the academic challenge, creative exploration, athletic opportunities, and supportive community that shape the Sundevil experience.
Every generation has a part in this story. Be part of what comes next.
Make your Founders Giving Day gift and help carry Barbara Young Simms’ vision into the future.
