SJC Men's Lacrosse

We are excited to announce our 6th Annual Giving Campaign for the Saint Joseph’s College Men’s Lacrosse team!

Over the last five years, money raised from our generous donors have gone to supporting our incredible, hardworking young men. From spring break trips, to team equipment bags and polos, our lacrosse team would not have had the same experience without your help. This spring our team is traveling to Florida to play 2 games after not being able to travel last year. Our hope is to raise enough money to help lower the costs of this trip. In addition, funds raised would go towards additional equipment to help us train and reduce the costs of team practice gear.

These things all have a direct impact on the teams’ performance, confidence and brand!

Coach Cosentino is entering his 6th year at SJC and has brought in a class of 13 new student-athletes for the fall of 2021! With 30 returning players and coming off a 5-3 record in 2021 before the season abruptly ended due to Covid-19, Coach Cosentino is hoping the 2022 team is ready to demonstrate just how hard they’ve been working. With fall ball underway, the team has already shown some signs of excellence both in the classroom and on the field.

Last Spring the men’s lacrosse team had 19 team members earn a GPA of 3.0 and higher, 4 of which were a perfect 4.0! Despite the season ending early, 3 men were still selected for the All GNAC Team! Three athletes were also selected to play in the NEILA East/West All-Star game. The mission of the program is “Through the game of lacrosse, we want to have a positive impact on our athletes and help them develop into positive, contributing young men who will serve the SJC campus community and their future communities by teaching them the value of discipline, work ethic, positivity, commitment, passion, competitiveness, leadership and accountability.” If you are looking to have a positive impact on the men’s lacrosse team here at Saint Joseph’s College, we kindly ask you to make a donation of any amount that is reasonable to you!
