International Day of Serviam 2026

On Saturday, January 24th, Ursuline schools across the country are sponsoring their 5th Annual International Day of Serviam to mark the Feast of St. Angela Merici, founder of the Ursuline Order.

Consider joining other Ursuline Academy alumnae and volunteering for one of the following non-profit agencies. Details about each service site can be found by clicking on the individual registration buttons on this page.

Boston Children’s Hospital Bloodmobile, Dedham: Save a life with blood donation! 85 Lowder Street, Dedham, MA 02026, on the Ursuline Campus. Blood Donations, ages 18+, (16+ with parent/guardian permission).

Cradles to Crayons, Newton: Essentials for children in need. 281 Newtonville Ave, Newton, MA 02460. Inspecting, sorting and packaging donations for children at the Giving Factory headquarters.

Dedham Food Pantry, Dedham: Food security for over 500 families in Dedham. Dedham Plaza, 600 Washington Street, Dedham, MA 02026. Sorting, stocking, and assisting patrons with food distribution.

New Life Furniture Bank, Walpole: Rebuilding lives for families. 102 Elm St, Walpole, MA 02081. Processing furniture, receiving donations of furniture & household goods, and organizing in a warehouse setting.

St. Anthony Shrine, Boston: Food assistance, counseling, health services for women, veteran support, LGBTQ+ ministry and more. 100 Arch St, Boston, MA 02110. Assisting with cleaning projects associated with the Shrine’s food pantry or organizing projects in some of the Shrine’s public hallways.
