About
VCMS Viper Fund 2025
Campaign Dates: October 9 – November 20, 2025
What is the Viper Fund?
The Viper Fund is Valley Charter Middle School’s fall fundraising campaign and it’s extra-special this year because we’re celebrating 15 years of Valley Charter! Since opening in 2011, VCMS has offered a small, project-based learning environment where fewer than 300 students are known and supported as individuals. This unique size builds strong relationships and meaningful opportunities—but it also means fewer public resources.
State funding only covers the basics. The Viper Fund makes it possible to provide the hands-on experiences and enrichment programs that define VCMS:
- 🚌 Field Trips
- ⚽ Free After-School Sports
- 🎓 8th Grade Graduation Activities
Campaign Goals
Raise $15,000
100% family participation
If each family contributes or raises $150 per student, we’ll reach our goal and keep these programs thriving.
Student Incentives
To keep fundraising fun and exciting, students can earn special prizes along the way, including the first-ever VCMS Puppy Party, hosted by Pups Without Borders on December 10th!
- 🍬 Sweet Treat — Get on the board by October 30
- 🥧 Pie in the Face Day — Raise $100 by November 14
- 🐶 Puppy Party — Raise $150 by November 20
- 🍕 Advisory Pizza Party — Advisory class with 100% participation

Ways to Give
1. Lump Sum or Recurring Donation
- Make a one-time contribution online, or drop off cash/check in the school office. Or, if smaller monthly gifts are better for your family, choose and amount and select “make this a recurring donation” when you give. Smaller monthly donations make a huge impact for VCMS fundraising.
2. Student-Led Fundraising
- Students are encouraged to ask friends, family, and neighbors for smaller donations of $10, $15, or $20. These gifts add up quickly and help each student reach their $150 goal while involving the broader community.
3. Chocolate Sales
- Buy See’s Candy chocolate bars in the school office. A percentage of each sale counts toward your student’s fundraising total. Sell the candy to recoup the cost, and the profit supports VCMS programs.
Together We Can Make It Happen
Your participation—whether through a donation, fundraising, or sharing the campaign—makes a lasting impact on every VCMS student. Thank you for helping us reach our $15,000 goal and 100% family participation and ensuring that field trips, after-school sports, and 8th grade culmination activities continue to thrive at VCMS!
