Rooted & Rising: Celebrating 15 Years of VCES Giving

For 15 years, Valley Charter Elementary School has been rooted in a commitment to knowing every student, supporting their growth, and helping them thrive. Our strong foundation—exceptional classroom instruction in core subjects—anchors all that we do. From there, our students rise through experiences that make learning meaningful and memorable.

Thanks to the generosity of the previous 15 years of families, VCES offers so much more than the basics. Field trips let students step into the world and connect lessons to life. Music sparks creativity, while yoga helps them steady their minds and bodies. With teaching assistants in every classroom and a full-time reading intervention teacher, every child receives more individualized support, ensuring they can grow both academically and personally.

What makes these programs possible isn’t just funding, it’s the creativity of our staff paired with the generosity of our families. State dollars cover the essentials, but your gifts bring teachers’ ideas to life, sustaining the programs that make VCES unique.

This year, through our 2025–2026 Annual Giving Campaign, we’re inviting our community to raise $75,000 with 100% family participation. Every gift, large or small, keeps our students rooted in strong foundations and rising toward their full potential.
