23rd Annual Afternoon of Exceptional Oratory

As we welcome the new year, I am honored to invite you to celebrate Catholic Memorial’s 23rd Annual Afternoon of Exceptional Oratory on Sunday, March 12, 2023 from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.

By registering for this event, you will have access to see and hear some of the exciting performances that have brought the CM Speech & Debate team many accolades over the years. CM’s Speech & Debate Team is one of the school’s longest-running student organizations and is a nationally recognized program. The has won 7 Team State Championships, with 60 speakers winning Individual State Championships, and 5 speakers winning Individual National Championships during its tenure. Participating in Speech & Debate is a special part of the CM experience.

Since 2001, the Catholic Memorial Speech & Debate team has relied on your generous donations to support their endeavors. The team and I are grateful for the kindness the CM Community has shown us. Support such as yours, has allowed us opportunities to achieve success by covering entry fees and providing the tools needed to perform both virtually and in person. All money raised for the 23rd Annual Afternoon of Exceptional Oratory goes directly back to the young men who participate in Speech & Debate at Catholic Memorial. It especially helps defray costs for our upcoming trips to the 2023 Nationals in Louisville and Phoenix.
