Agnes Irwin Spirit Week of Giving
Monday, November 4 until Friday, November 8 is Spirit Week of Giving! During Friday’s AIS-EA Day, our girls will compete, support, and cheer, “I Believe!” And just as they believe in one another, the Agnes Irwin school community believes in them. Please join in supporting this beloved tradition by making a gift to The Agnes Irwin Fund during our annual Spirit Week of Giving! We truly are Stronger Together.
What is the Agnes Irwin Fund?
The Agnes Irwin Fund is our primary fundraising vehicle. It fuels every aspect of an Agnes Irwin education. High participation rates show confidence and strong community support for the school.
Does Agnes Irwin publish a list of donors to the Agnes Irwin Fund?
Yes! The school’s Annual Report, published in the fall, lists each donor to the Agnes Irwin Fund. You may choose to be anonymous, as well.
Doesn't tuition cover the costs of the school?
Tuition does not cover the cost of operating the school. Most, if not all, private schools rely on annual funds to close ‘the gap,’ the cost of tuition against the cost of providing a top-tier education.
Additionally, the more successful the Agnes Irwin Fund is, the more dynamic we can make the school and differentiate it from others.
Last year, 66% of gifts were $250 or less, which totaled over $95,000!
I can't give enough to make a difference.
EVERY GIFT MAKES A DIFFERENCE! The cumulative giving effect of the Agnes Irwin community is tremendous. The overall financial contribution is critical, and it is an incredibly powerful differentiator for a school to be able to boast a high percentage of participation from its parents, past parents, alumnae, grandparents and friends. It is a great marketing tool to say the least.
