Q: What is the Anna Maria Fund?
The Anna Maria Fund is the name of the annual fund for the school. It is our primary fundraising vehicle for the school and supports a wide variety of needs from financial aid, library resources, facilities renovations, and more. Your gift provides a steady, unrestricted flow of support to the programs, services, and facilities that have kept Anna Maria at the forefront of educating students who have the creativity and courage to challenge old ways of doing and working, and forge new paths and solutions.
Q: Doesn’t tuition cover the costs of the school?
Tuition does not cover the cost of operating the school. Most, if not all schools, rely on some form of fundraising to make up “the gap,” or what tuition doesn’t cover. As a school which proudly offers financial assistance and scholarships to nearly 100% of our students, your gift goes a long way to make the dream of a college education a reality.
Q: Why should I participate in this “I Heart Anna Maria” Giving Challenge?
Participation by as many members of our community shows the wider world that Anna Maria is going strong! By making a gift, you are casting a “vote of confidence,” in the direction of Anna Maria and your belief that an education at Anna Maria College changes lives for the better.
Q: What if I can’t give enough to make a difference?
EVERY GIFT MAKES A DIFFERENCE! One of the amazing things about a community is the power of what we can accomplish when we come together. A small gift might not feel very influential, but when added to the overall Anna Maria Fund, it will allow our school to shine! You have the power to make a difference to Anna Maria, no matter the size of your gift. Plus, this year there are challenge match gifts that will be unlocked when specific goals are reached—your gift could be the one that unlocks an additional $10,000 gift to the College!
Q: What if I don’t want to make a gift online?
No problem! There are many easy ways to make a gift. You can give us a call in the Advancement Office at 508-849-3341. Or you can send us a check in the mail at: Anna Maria College, Office of Advancement, 50 Sunset Lane, Box K, Paxton, MA 01612. If you specify your gift is part of our “I Heart Anna Maria” Giving Challenge, we will be sure to include it in our total.
Q: Does Anna Maria publish a list of their donors?
Yes, we publish a Donor Report each year, typically in the Fall, as a way to honor, thank, and celebrate everyone who makes the success of Anna Maria possible. You may always choose to remain anonymous if you do not want your name listed.
