Welcome to Reunion Weekend at BFS!

Join us for a joyful weekend of celebration—Friday, May 16 through Saturday, May 17. Whether you’re reliving favorite memories or making new ones, we can’t wait to welcome you back to BFS.

Highlights include:

  • 🌟 Honoring the retirement of beloved teacher Vlad Malukoff

  • 🧒 Family-friendly fun with face painting, rooftop play, and music by Tony Soll

  • 🏫 A chance to experience today’s BFS through class visits, student panels, and campus tours

  • 🕊️ A reflective Meeting for Grieving to remember alumni and former colleagues

  • 🎶 Rooftop cocktails, bites, and live jazz performed by BFS student musicians

  • 🛍️ Plus, all attendees will receive a custom BFS Downtown Brooklyn Maptote!

Although most events are free, please register for each one you plan to attend to help us plan thoughtfully. We’re so excited to celebrate with you!

Student Creativity, Activity, Service IB Program presentations

2–3 pm

CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) is a core IB requirement and graduation component at Brooklyn Friends School. Focused on student-led group projects with outside partners, CAS emphasizes community service rooted in compassion, collaboration, and ethical reflection. Though creativity and activity are included, service is central. Students will share how CAS shapes their BFS journey.
