Tom O’Connor was a good man with strong faith and great Irish wit. My life was made better for having known him. He certainly represented what Cardinal Hayes students can aspire to be.

My husband, Thomas was a 1964 Graduate of CHHS. He loved Hayes and kept his Hayes Hat and Letter sweater all theses years. He passed away September 8 and would love that a scholarship was set up in his name. A faithful and hardworking student, an exceptionally good, hardworking and kind man, he would wish for the recipient of this scholarship to carry those values forward in his own life.

We're very excited to donate to Tom's scholarship fund. He was truly one of a kind. Sincere, humble, optimistic and a having a great sense of humor.

Tom was a hard working and dedicated man with a deep faith and a fantastic New York sense of humor. He was respected and loved by all whose lives he touched.

I have vivid memories of Uncle Tom. He was such a great man full of positivity, strength and wisdom. I'll never forget the times I visited the Cape house (sometimes unannounced!) Only to be welcomed with open arms and great conversations and stories. Thank you, Uncle Tom for being such a special part of my life.

Thomas T. O'Connor was a dear wonderful neighbor and friend for the past 18 years. Tom had a way of positively influencing those around him by just being his stable, intelligent, reasonable and reliable self, a gift to this world.
