Cougar Stomp
October 12th Fund Run
Should I pledge a flat rate amount or "per lap" pledge donation?
A Flat Rate donation is a one time donation on behalf of the student and the most popular way to donate! A Per Lap donation requires a little more effort on behalf of the student (and sometimes requires parent assistance)
A Per Lap donation requires the donor to make a one time $10 donation (to be counted on behalf of the student challenges) and then the Student will need to report back to you after the run day. They’ll tell you how many laps they completed, and collect accordingly. The last day to donate is Oct 20th. ***We suggest Per Lap donations for 6th - 8th grade students
Where do the kids run? How far will they run?
The students run at “their” neighborhood park, in Cannon Hill Park.
Each student will have individual lap goals! The students will be running slightly different laps based on grade.
Preschool & PreKindergarten - laps around the baseball diamond
K, 1st, & 2nd Grade - laps around the inner loop, with sections designated to RUN-WALK-JOG for efficiency
3rd, 4th, & 5th Grade - laps around the inner loop. Keep a steady beat with your feet and rest as needed!
6th, 7th, & 8th Grade - laps around the outer loop. Encouraged to wear a fitness tracker, keep a beat with your feet, and rest as needed
Who can donate?
Everyone! Every student is trying to gain pledges and we want to help them reach that goal. If you don’t have specific student to pledge, you can email [email protected] and she will link your donation to a student. We want to help every student get a pledge! 100% participation = class Pizza party!
Can I pledge with Cash or Check?
YES! Students will submit cash and checks to the Main Office where pledges will be processed and accounted for the students on this website.
