Family Weekend 2024
Canterbury families are invited to Family Weekend—a two-day program filled with opportunities to experience your child’s daily life on the hilltop.
Are all teachers available for conferences?
All teachers are available for conferences during the conference blocks.
Where do the students have dinner on Friday?
A casual dinner will be provided in the dining hall for students and families on Friday evening.
Parents are also welcome to take students off campus for dinner.
Can I take my child off campus during Family Weekend?
Yes. We ask that boarding students check in with their dorm parents before leaving campus and that all athletic commitments have been met.
When do students return to campus after Family Weekend?
All boarding students must return to their dorms by 7:00 PM on Tuesday evening, October 29. Classes resume for all students Wednesday morning, October 30.
Please note that most Fall Varsity teams will practice Tuesday afternoon.
Where do we park on campus?
Parking is available in the three main parking lots (in front of Sheehan House, on Elkington Farm Road, and near the tennis courts on the lower campus) and one handicapped parking lot (near the Higgins’ Aquatic Center). Staff will be available to direct you once you arrive on campus.
