Cornerstone Fund Giving Week

The Cornerstone Fund is a yearly fundraising initiative which truly touches every member of the Cornerstone Christian Academy community. Through the support of the Cornerstone Fund, we are able to enrich learning in ways that tuition alone cannot provide - supporting innovative learning, early curriculum adoptions, and top-notch teaching teams. The Cornerstone Fund plays a significant role in keeping Cornerstone Christian Academy at the forefront of education.

Your gift to the Cornerstone Fund is the most important source of unrestricted support to our school and has a direct impact on providing your child with a superior educational experience. When you choose to give annually to the Cornerstone Fund, you benefit from making a tax-deductible gift while enabling CCA to keep lower tuition rates. By keeping tuition accessible to the community, CCA can attract families who share in the common goal of providing Skills for Life and Faith for Eternity.

During the week of October 12 - 16, CCA will host a Cornerstone Fund Giving Week. A week-long giving initiative dedicated to giving, gratitude, and community. We have two goals. The first goal is to have 100% participation. The second is to meet a dollar amount of $115,000.

We ask that you prayerfully consider what is meaningful to you. Whether $25 or $25,000, every gift makes an impact on Skills for Life and Faith for Eternity. Stand alongside Cornerstone Christian Academy families, grandparents, friends, alumni, Board of Trustees, and faculty and staff.

It has been an unprecedented year, and we are focusing on technology.

• Replacement of Middle School laptops
• Replacement of Elementary iPads
• Technology infrastructure upgrades
• Apple TV in every classroom
• Laptops and iPads for all teachers

• Monday - 25% all-school participation by 5:00 PM on Monday unlocks Wacky Tacky Tuesday Dress Up Day and a $5,000 donation.

• Tuesday - 50% all-school participation by 5:00 PM Tuesday unlocks Free Dress for Wednesday chapel and another $5,000 donation.

• Wednesday - For every grade that reaches 100% family participation by Friday, an additional gift of $1,250 will be made in the name of the grade level PLUS unlocks the following for each grade: A petting zoo for Preschool. 5 extra recess times, new recess equipment, and a snow cone truck for Elementary. Fun Friday Frenzy for Middle School - gaming, pizza, and tons of fun.

• Thursday - 75% all-school participation unlocks an ice cream sundae party at lunch.

• Friday - 100% all-school participation unlocks two weeks of free dress in December.

The Cornerstone Fund campaign will be October 12 - 16, and we hope that all families will give or pledge by October 16, 2020. A pledge is a promise to give that will be paid later. You can email your pledge amount to Jennifer Nall at [email protected]. If you are ready to donate now, you may donate on this site. We also accept cash and checks. All pledge payments are due by June 30, 2020. If you would like your name listed a certain way in the Annual Report, please let us know.

CCA staff gives 110% of themselves every day. We challenge our donors to match this same commitment by increasing their last contribution by 10%. Membership in the 110% club is one important way to guarantee sustained growth of the Cornerstone Fund.

The Leadership Circle recognizes donors who contribute $2,500 or more to the Cornerstone Fund.

CCA is fortunate to have a faithful base of supporters who have helped sustain the Annual Fund over the years. Consistent giving of 5 years and longer is so important that CCA is establishing the “Gold Club” to honor its most loyal Cornerstone Fund donors.
