I have a lifetime of memories here, from the day we set foot on campus in 2001 until now. It tugs at my heartstrings whenever I see the little ones playing on the Circle today and think of how my four children each spent 14 wonderful years embraced by this school, comfortable enough to truly see it their second home.

My favorite memory was just being around my friends and having a close knit community. Being able to share common interests and build long lasting bonds was a great experience.

I am so grateful and honored to have received my education and foundation for life at St. Mary's Hall. I have so many wonderful memories of St. Mary's Hall throughout my 13 years of attendance: 1961-1974, K-12! All are too numerous to mention but some include: the wonderful, dedicated teachers; the religious indoctrination; chapel service every morning to start our day; "color day"; being President of my senior class and taking the lit cross of candles out on to the Delaware River in a tiny rowboat!; drama club; pancakes for all, with the hidden prize/symbol in the stack, on Maundy Tuesday(Everyone hoped to receive the penny!); book fairs; our Prom; the Christmas Mystery; "the fire"; our graduation, and the list goes on! 2024 marks the 50th reunion for my class of 1974! I'm honored to excited to see my classmates for our celebration! I also honor the memory of my mother, Mrs. Esther Brown, R.N., who dedicated approximately 25 years of service as the school nurse at SMH/Doane.

Too many memories to just pick one. St. Mary’s changed my life. Now I get to change the world.

Being in the short film School Daze years before Spike Lee came up with a film of the same name.
