What are the official rules?
1. Tournament format is a Four-Person Scramble.
2. Scramble format is defined as follows: Each golfer on the team hits a drive; The results of the drives are compared. A decision is made on which is best. That ball is selected and marked, and the other golfers on the team pick up their golf balls and move them to that location; The second shots are played, and the process repeats: Select the best ball, move the other balls to that spot and play the third shots, and so on until the ball is holed for one team score.
3. Each hole’s team score is recorded on the team scorecard.
4. Each team scorecard MUST be turned into the Scorer’s Table upon completion of the round.
5. In the event of a tie, the Grey Hawk Golf Club tournament director will use the course standard for tie breakers comparing scores from the # 1 handicap hole, then the # 2 handicap hole, and so on.
6. The winning team will be awarded the Golf Classic Grand Prize of $500.

Men - White Tees
Women - Red Tees
Seniors (60 and over) - Red or Gold Tees
What meals will be served?
Breakfast: Continental Breakfast Beginning at 7:30 a.m.
Lunch: Boxed Lunch with Turkey Wrap, Chips, and a Cookie
Dinner: Pulled Pork Dinner with Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, Potato Salad, Tossed Salad, and Desserts
What are the betting games and prizes?
Betting Holes: Double your money. Cash required.

Team Mulligans: Each team can purchase mulligans before play starts. Mulligans are $20/team for four chances. Mulligans may be used how the team sees fit, whether one player uses all four chances, or each player gets one chance, etc. Teams cannot purchase more than the original four chances. Mulligans may not be used to win hole challenge contests.
Colored Ball Game: The cost of the Colored Ball Tournament is $20/team. You will be issued a Colored Ball prior to starting your round. You must alternate using the Colored Ball within your foursome per hole, with each golfer taking their turn, in rotation. The player teeing off with the Colored Ball will play the ball for the entire hole. The team or teams that finish the 18-hole round with the Colored Ball and return it to the scorer’s table will be entered into a drawing. There will be one (1) team drawn that will be awarded the Colored Ball Tournament Prize, which is 50% of the money collected from entries.
How many golfers are you registering?
Our maximum number of golfers is 144.
Can I attend the outing but not golf?
Yes, we would love to have you join us for dinner! The cost is $20.00. Please register on this site as a non-golfer.
I want to register a foursome, but I don't have the names of my golfers yet. Can I still sign up?
Yes! If you do not have all four names, just put “TBD” as the first and last name for missing golfers and your information for email and affiliation.
