Marie Connors Sulger Roberts Scholarship Fund

The Marie Connors Sulger Roberts ‘49, P’84 Scholarship Fund at the Ethel Walker School will honor her devotion to her alma mater and Walker’s service-oriented philosophy for young women. While at Walker’s, Marie served as President of the student body and received awards for her service, spirit, and kindness. Marie won the Beatrice Hurlburt Prize for Character and Influence as well as the Helen Blair Class of 1929 Memorial Prize in honor of her “gentleness, serenity, and sensitivity.”

As an alumna and Trustee, Marie believed deeply in the Walker’s mission. She was awarded the Vander Poel Bowl in 1981 for distinguished leadership in the Annual Fund, and rallied her class to win the Elizabeth Nash Muench Tray at their 60th Reunion (2009) for 100% class participation in the Annual Fund.
