Reconnect with classmates and friends on Saturday, July 30, 2022! Register for the reunion and/or support Gesu Church and School with a gift.
When is the reunion?
The Gesu Church and School reunion will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Gesu Church and School. 17139 Oak Drive, Detroit, MI 48221. It will be held in the parking lot between the church and school. It will be a large block party with music and food from Food Trucks.
Do we need to register to attend the reunion?
Yes we need everyone to register in advance. Your $10 registration fee helps defer the costs associated with this reunion. If you register, you will receive a food and soft drink voucher and other items upon arrival.
What time will Mass be celebrated?
4:00 p.m. in Gesu church
Will there be Food and Drink available?
Yes, there will be food trucks at Gesu (registered guests will receive a food and soft drink voucher) and drinks will be sold by the Gesu Parent organization.
Will the reunion be COVID safe?
The reunion will be held outdoors under tents although there will be tours of the church and school indoors. Please plan on following all public health recommendations on the day of the reunion.
How much are raffle tickets and what are the raffle prizes?
Raffle tickets are $100 each.
!st Prize: $25,000, 2nd Prize: $15,000, 3rd Prize:$10,000 4th Prize: E Bike. If $100,000 in tickets are not sold by July 15, the raffle will revert to a 50/50 raffle with a guaranteed prize of $10,000 and 2nd prize is an Electric Bike made in the city by Detroit Bike Company and donated by Detroit Moped Works.
How do I purchase a Raffle Ticket now?
You must mail a check or money order to Gesu School, 17139 Oak Drive, Detroit, MI 48221 with you name, address, email address and telephone number before July 15, 2022. Once a check is received, a ticket will be filled out for you and you will receive a receipt via email.
Can I purchase a raffle ticket at the reunion? What time is the drawing?
Yes you can purchase a ticket from now until 5:00 p.m. July 30, 2022.
The raffle drawing is at 6:30 p.m. on July 30, 2022.
Do I need to be present to win the raffle?
No, you do not need to be present to win.
Where do I park for the reunion?
Parking will be difficult because the the PGA Rocket Mortgage Classic. there will be limited parking in the school lot off of Birchcrest (reserved for handicapped and those 70+.) We suggest carpooling and parking on the street in the neighborhood and walking to Gesu.
Can I register at the event?
Yes you can register at the event although we prefer advance registration. We need to know how much food and drink to provide so please register in advance.
Can I bring my children?
Yes you can bring children. Gesu Community Green will be open for play.
Is the venue wheel chair accessible?
The main event is in the Gesu parking lot and is wheelchair accessible. Please notify us in advance for parking assistance. Both the church and school are wheelchair accessible.
