Items to Note:

• Pre-registration is required at Gould Golf Tournament 2023 by August 23, 2023.

• Cancellation policy: No refunds after August 23.

• Dress Code: We must abide by Wentworth Country Club dress standards. No jeans, cargo shorts/pants, tank or tee shirts are allowed. NO PROPER ATTIRE, NO PLAY.

Yes. If you do not have all four names, just put “TBD” as the first and last name for missing golfers. And once you have all your team players confirmed, please email the first and last names of all players on your team to [email protected]. (This must be completed by August 23, 2023.)

1. Tournament format is a Four-Person Scramble. The scramble format is defined as follows: Each golfer on the team hits a drive; The results of the drives are compared. A decision is made on which is best. That ball is selected and marked, and the other golfers on the team pick up their golf balls and move them to that location; The second shots are played, and the process repeats: Select the best ball, move the other balls to that spot and play the third shots, and so on until the ball is holed for one team score.

2. Each hole’s team score is recorded on the team scorecard.

3. Each team scorecard MUST be turned into the Scorer’s Table upon completion of the round.

4. In the event of a tie, the Wentworth Country Club tournament director will use the course standard for tie breakers comparing scores from the # 1 handicap hole, then the # 2 handicap hole, and so on.

5. The winning team will be awarded the Gould Golf Tournament Grand Prize from Sea Dog Brewing.

Longest Drive Contest: Included in registration for all levels except single basic. Prize for the longest drive contest is a $100 gift card to the Wentworth By The Sea Country Club Pro Shop. Men’s and women’s prizes will be awarded. Not available for purchase on the day of the tournament.

Closest to the pin Contest: Included in registration for all levels except single basic. Prize for the longest drive contest is a $100 gift card to The Wentworth By the Sea Pro Shop. Men’s and women’s prizes will be awarded. Not available for purchase on the day of the tournament.

Hole-in-One Contest: Included in the registration for all levels except single basic. Four Holes are eligible for a Hole-In-One prize!

Grand Prize: Pebble Beach Golf Trip- The winner of this grand prize receives four nights’ accommodations at the Lodge at Pebble Beach, one round at Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spanish Bay and Spyglass Hills, and airfare. Trip is for 2 individuals. This prize has a value of $10,000.

Other Prizes:

• 5 Day / 4 Night stay on the island of Oahu, home to the famous Waikiki Beach. (Accommodations only)

• One Pair of SQAIRZ Golf Shoes for Each Member of the Foursome

• Samsung 50 Inch LCD Smart TV

Raffle: “All Inclusive Escape” The prize consists of a 4 Day / 3 Night “All Inclusive” resort stay for 2 adults in a choice of location including Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and the Bahamas. Enjoy the beautiful beaches and sumptuous meals, along with all the recreational activities such as snorkeling, sailing, tennis and live entertainment provided by these all-inclusive resorts. This stay is accommodations only and is valued at over $1,200. Tickets are $10/each and $25/3.

Mulligans: These can only be purchased the day of the tournament prior to the start of play. Not included in registration. Mulligans are $10/each, $25/3 maximum per player.

Strings: 2-foot strings available. These can only be purchased the day of the tournament prior to the start of play. Not included in registration. Strings: $10/each, $25/3 maximum per team.

Value Pack: $70 – 3 mulligans, 3 strings, and 3 raffle tickets.

Ultra Value Pack: $90 – 3 mulligans, 3 strings, and 6 raffle tickets.
