What is the purpose of the Blue and White Ball?
The Blue and White Ball is Gonzaga Prep’s largest fundraiser of the year, raising critical funds to support our annual fund. These funds help address the immediate needs of the school, ensuring we can continue our mission of providing a Jesuit education rooted in Gospel values. Proceeds directly benefit our students, empowering them to achieve their dreams, embrace leadership, and create a brighter future.
When and where does the event take place?
The Blue and White Ball will take place on Saturday, March 15th, at the elegant Historic Davenport Hotel in downtown Spokane. The evening will begin with Mass and a cocktail hour at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m.
Who can attend the event?
This event is open to the entire Gonzaga Prep community and beyond! Current parents, alumni, valued community sponsors and partners, teachers, staff, and anyone who believes in supporting the transformative education provided by Gonzaga Prep are warmly invited. Please note that the Blue and White Ball is a 21+ event.
What should I wear to the event?
The event attire is both cocktail and formal, but ultimately, you are encouraged to dress in a way that makes you feel comfortable and celebratory!
Are there be sponsorship opportunities?
Yes! Event sponsors play a vital role in helping us offset costs, ensuring that all funds raised directly support our mission. We are also in need of underwriters for all our events throughout the year. Will there be a silent auction or other activities?
Yes, there will be a silent auction and a raffle! Silent auction packages will be published as the event date approaches, and there will even be a way for those unable to attend in person to participate in the silent auction.
What if I can’t attend but still want to support the event?
If you’re unable to attend, you can still make a meaningful impact by donating online. Visit this link to contribute and support Gonzaga Prep’s mission.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
We are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions. Please indicate any special requests when you RSVP or contact Nichole Mischke, Event Manager, at [email protected] or 509-483-8511 ext. 338 at least two weeks before the event.
