The Class of 1975 is invited to celebrate their special milestone reunion by joining us for a seated brunch with your classmates to kick off Alumnae Weekend.

The time has come for the Class of 1975 to meet their Third Grade pen pals! The Class of 2034 can’t wait to meet the Class of 1975 and take them on a tour of the school and show off their classrooms. All members of the Class of 1975 are welcome to join, regardless of participation in the program.

The Class of 1975 are invited to observe the Upper School “Engineering and Design” class in the IDEA lab and participate in a group project with Upper School students enrolled in the IDEA Fellowships.

Join Keynote speaker Mayor Bianca Motley Broom ‘95 for an invigorating conversation about her career and leadership trajectory. Shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic–in January of 2020–Bianca was sworn in as the 27th mayor of College Park, Georgia. She is the first woman and the first Black person to serve in this role. Broom is currently serving her second-term as mayor, and is deeply committed to building an equitable and inclusive community.

Bianca will talk about how her HB experience as an HB lifer prepared her for navigating challenges, facing adversity, and leading with vision and excellence.

Michael Ciuni, Director and Chair of the Fellowships in Global Citizenship, will lead a discussion with students pursuing the Fellowship. Students will present on the international spring and summer programs, while providing an overview of the Fellowship.

In 2023, HB was awarded LEED Gold Certification for building operations and maintenance from the United States Green Building Council. Join Torrey McMillan ‘90, Director of the Fellowships in Sustainability, to hear about HB’s initiatives to advance sustainability on our campus, in our community, and in the curriculum. The session will end with a walking tour of the HB campus to see indoor and outdoor sustainability projects.

Tour the IDEA lab and participate in a group project with Upper School students enrolled in the IDEA Fellowships.

Join us for a hands-on workshop where HB Alumnae explore monotype screen printing to express the spirit and personal significance of being part of the HB community. Using painterly techniques, participants will create vibrant, one-of-a-kind screenprints that honor friendships, celebrate growth, and reflect shared experiences. No art experience is necessary—just bring your creativity and connection to HB!

Head of School Dr. Fran Bisselle will share an update on HB today and present the Distinguished Alumnae Awards to Cindy Resch Gardner ‘75 and Michele Johnson Rogers ‘75; the Alumnae Achievement Award to Samantha Lewis-Bennett ‘00, and the Head’s Award for Exemplary Service to Jane Quayle Outcalt ‘55.

The Philanthropy Awards will also be presented at this time.

Catch up with your classmates and fellow alumnae while enjoying a lunch buffet featuring a selection of favorite dishes, including HB’s apple crisp! This event is complimentary for the Class of 1975.

Class photos will be taken in the Atrium before and after lunch. Volunteers will be on hand to direct everyone to their designated area.

Classes celebrating their 50th-80th Reunions will take their photos at 12:30 PM, prior to lunch.

Classes celebrating their 5th-45th Reunions will take their photos at 1:30 PM, after lunch.
