About
The senior class gift – called The Class of 2023 Financial Aid Fund – is composed of donations made by seniors. Horace Mann has a strong tradition where each year’s graduating class contributes collectively to a group fund that provides financial assistance for future students. For reference, this school year, 15% of students received $11.3 million in financial aid. We hope each and every one of you will help us continue the legacy of “giving back” and making a Horace Mann education possible for future generations.
Our goal is to achieve at least 50% participation which would be the most participation from any senior class in recent years (the highest participation rate was 30% in 2019). To achieve this goal, we need 91 students to make a gift- even a gift of $1 will count! This is our chance to give back and leave our mark on HM.
How to make a gift?
1. Donate here on this page!
2. Join us at the upcoming bake sale on May 19th and purchase any baked good item- this purchase will count as a donation.
3. There are donation boxes in the Dean’s office and library. You can always drop off a donation there as well.
Every person who donates to the Class of 2023 Financial Aid Fund – regardless of gift amount – will be receiving an “HM Pennant” as a token of the school’s appreciation.
