Ignite the Blue Knight

Ignite the Blue Knight represents an exciting evolution of our fundraising efforts, conceived by our very own parents as a dynamic alternative to the traditional Blue Knight Auction Classroom Project. Our goals are threefold: to energize participation among our elementary parents, to spark some friendly competition between our schools, and, most importantly, to substantially increase the vital funds raised to directly benefit each of our individual schools.

When you support the Ignite the Blue Knight fundraiser, your contribution goes directly into the discretionary account of each individual school within the Lafayette Catholic School System.

That means that the funds raised for St. Francis Early Learning Academy will be used specifically for projects and needs identified by their principal, faculty and staff. The same holds true for St. Lawrence, St. Mary, and St. Boniface.

Our principals will collaborate closely with their teams to determine the best way to utilize these funds to enhance the learning environment and support our students at each level. This localized approach ensures that the money raised directly benefits the unique needs and priorities of each school community.

Yes! If you would like to make a cash or check gift, please drop off at any school front office in an envelope with your name and supporting school(s) name(s).

Ignite the Knight is a smaller, more targeted fundraiser that will impact only the elementary schools and St. Francis Early Learning Academy. It will also mean no more classroom projects for the Blue Knight Auction. These projects have been a point of contention as they often leave parents scrambling for items to donate. LCSS Day of Giving is an all-out celebration of all five campuses of LCSS. It is a broad fundraising campaign that brings together alumni, current families, and the broader community.
