Why should I support NA's Day of Giving?
Gifts to the Newark Academy Annual Fund have an immediate impact, providing financial support to the school’s operating budget for the upcoming year. These gifts are essential to the school’s ability to meet the needs of students and faculty members every day, allowing them to move beyond the ordinary education offered elsewhere to the extraordinary educational experience that is NA.
Specifically, gifts to the NA Annual Fund help to:
Attract and retain an exceptional faculty with competitive compensation and opportunities for professional growth
Support equity and inclusion initiatives and programs
Broaden the socioeconomic diversity of our student body through financial aid
Enhance arts, sustain robust academics, improve athletics, provide state-of-the-art technology, and enrich experiential extracurricular programs
Connect our graduates to the school and each other through alumni programming and events that take place locally, regionally and online
What is the Board of Trustees COVID Match?
The NA board of Trustees will be matching every gift made to the Annual Fund, with those matching dollars directed to NA’s COVID Mitigation and Relief efforts, including:
- Assistance for families in need
- Equipment & Technology
- Faculty/Staff training and support
- COVID testing
