What should I wear?
Mix in the Meadow is a dressy casual event. Popular options for women are dresses, a skirt and dressy top, dressy pants outfits and/or nice jeans and a dressy top. Popular men’s options include a seasonal sport coat or blazer and slacks, a dress shirt, casual button-down shirt, open collar or polo shirt and nice jeans. Mix is an outdoor, tented event. Please consider the weather conditions when deciding what clothes to wear!
What food will be available?
There will be several heavy hors d’oeuvres stations to enjoy as you mix with other guests, as well as an open bar featuring a wide selection of beers, wines and cocktails.
Where should I park?
Guests are asked to park in the main lot at Old Trail School near the flagpole, then walk up the wooden steps that lead up to Merryweather Outdoor Classroom. Guest with mobility challenges may park in the gravel driveway near the outdoor classroom.
Will entertainment be provided?
Yes! Guests will enjoy live music performed by a traditional bluegrass band called Mr. Haney. Band members include Jim Eisenberg (claw hammer banjo, vocal, hambone), Laura Lewis Kovac (fiddle, feet), Ken Roby (fiddle, mandolin, banjo), Jim Richards (guitar) and Nancy Tozer (bass),
