S. Noreen Marie George Memorial Challenge
Stephanie Uhlarik ‘76 and Anne Marie Brunner ‘76 are challenging alumnae who remember S. Noreen Marie George to donate this #GivingTuesday in her memory. Stephanie and Anne Marie together will donate $1,000.00 once 50 donors support this challenge!
While Stephanie has many fond memories of S. Noreen Marie, one memory that stands out for her is how Sister managed to gain approval to teach an advanced Latin class. Three students met (often as an independent-study group when Sister Noreen Marie had to attend to her administrative duties) in a small room near the Senior Lounge that they called “The Catacombs.” It was an above-and-beyond moment, and Stephanie thanks Sister’s efforts!
