Roncalli High School Walkathon 2023

• Every dollar raised through the Walkathon supports the Roncalli Circle of Faith Annual Fund.
• This is THE ONLY all-school fundraiser in which Roncalli students are asked to participate.
• Walkathon raises over $85,000 each school year.

• Wednesday, November 22 during the school day
• No college visits are allowed on these dates.
• A Eucharstic Procession will be on Friday, November 3. Students can wear Walkathon t-shirts for Eucharistic Procession also.

• Students need to secure $75 in donations prior to the Walkathon date. ($130 for a household: 2 or more students living in the same household/address)
• Students will receive a yellow envelope for cash/check donations, as well as a unique link for online donations.
• Once students turn in their monetary goal, they will receive a wristband and can be out of uniform from that day through the week until Thursday, November 2. They can wear their Walkathon t-shirt on Friday, November 3 for the Eucharistic Procession. ** Lost wristbands are $5.**
• All students will participate in the walk, only students who turn in $75 (or the $130 household rate) will receive a Walkathon t-shirt.

• Students will receive a bright yellow envelope for cash/check donations (September 29).
• Students will also receive an email with their unique link for online donations (September 29).
• Students should fill in their yellow envelopes with the cash and check totals, as well as, amounts pledged online and turn it in to get their t-shirts/wristbands.

• School will begin at the regular time.
• All eight periods will meet for approximately 20-minute intervals.
• Walkathon will begin at approximately 11:15 AM in the Ascension St. Vincent Gymnasium.
• Dismissal will be at 12:30 PM after all students have returned from the walk.
• No lunch will be served.

• Students will turn in their money online or in the yellow envelope in the school lobby at dismissal on Friday, October 27.
• Collections will continue before school on Monday, October 30 and during lunch periods Monday, October 30 - Thursday, November 2.
• Any money turned in after lunch on November 2 must be turned in at the Advancement Office.

• Students who meet their fundraising goal will receive a t-shirt to wear the day of the Walkathon ($75/$130 Household Rate). Students may wear sweatpants or pants/jeans with no holes (NO SHORTS AND NO LEGGINGS).
• If a student does not meet the fundraising requirement, he or she will walk in the school uniform.

• All students who individually turn in $100 or more will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win some great prizes!
• Prize winners will be drawn on November 3.

In order to participate in all the out-of-uniform days, a student must not lose their wristband and t-shirt!
