SJC Homecoming & Family Day 2023

Dr. Beth Auger was a beloved professor of biology at Saint Joseph’s. Upon her passing in 2017, the College renamed its annual day of service in her honor. This year, the Beth Auger Day of Service will coincide with homecoming to try and include any alumni who would like to join students, faculty, and staff on this day of service. We invite you to participate in one of three ways: (1) share a memory of Dr. Auger either in writing or video; (2) take part in the Beth Auger Day of Service while you are visiting the campus for homecoming; and/or (3) commit to some service in your local community on either October 6 or during the following weekend.

The 2023 alumni golf outing will be held at Nonesuch River Golf Club in Scarborough, Maine! This year is a shot gun start! The cost will be $125.00 per person or $450 per pre-registered foursome. The event will include a post-golf get together and raffle.

The SJC Hall of Fame celebrates accomplished athletes, faculty, staff, and friends who have brought distinction to the College through athletics. Consideration is also given to good sportsmanship, academic achievement, and citizenship.

The Hall of Fame was established in 2000 and inducts new members each fall. In 2014, the Saint Joseph’s Hall of Fame Room was unveiled to the public, and serves as a lasting tribute to current and future Hall of Fame members. It is located on the second floor of the Harold Alfond Center.

Join us to witness the Blessing of the Hands. Started by Sister Sylvia Comer many years ago, it has become a tradition for nursing students as they start their Sophomore year and begin their hands-on care for patients.

Join fellow Alumni, parents, students and friends as we welcome our SJC Community to campus! This event will be family friendly with music, games/activities and a great menu! (Caricature artist, live band, lawn games, face painting.)

Please join us on Saturday, October 7th, for a networking event between current 4th-year students and SJC alumni. Enjoy a complimentary drink and appetizers while discussing various professional fields, career paths, and interview experiences. This is a great opportunity to build and strengthen connections across SJC Alumni and student networks!

Celebrate with us this fall, make new memories, and support student scholarships. Monkstoberfest—Oktoberfest with a Monks twist—offers German-style food, live music, local beer, and a commemorative stein at this popular social event. All proceeds from this event benefit Alumni Association Scholarship.

End the day with all of your fall favorites! Beginning at 8 pm, we will host pumpkin carving and supply all the tools to make your creation. While carving away, enjoy apple cider and caramel apples, while watching a Halloween movie under the stars. You won’t want to miss this!
