About

Join us for a transformative weekend institute designed to inform and inspire.

The focus of our 2nd annual St. Joseph’s College of Maine Well-Being Institute is Social Emotional Learning and Professional Well Being.

The weekend program will be held at our lakeside campus on Sebago Lake in Standish, Maine.

The Weekend Institute is designed to engage participants in active workshop sessions with practical takeaways focused on strategies that promote social emotional learning. We will also take some time to invest in your own well-being while gaining valuable tools to nurture the social-emotional growth of learners and/or clients and colleagues.

This immersive weekend experience will delve into the core competencies of social emotional learning exploring evidence-based practices for fostering self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making. Participants will be invited to join reflective discussions and discover ways to create positive and supportive learning environments.

A core component of this institute will highlight the intersections between social emotional learning and our own professional well-being, supported by various dimensions of health and wellness.
