International Day of Serviam 2025

Help us make a difference in our communities in the name of Serviam!

On Saturday, January 25th, Ursuline schools across the country are sponsoring their 4th Annual International Day of Serviam to mark the Feast of St. Angela Merici, foundress of the Ursuline Order.

Consider joining other Ursuline Academy alumnae and volunteering for one of the following non-profit agencies. Details about each service site can be found by clicking on the individual registration buttons on this page.

Dedham Food Pantry, Dedham: Dedham Plaza, 600 Washington Street, Dedham, MA 02026. Sorting, stocking, and assisting patrons with food distribution.

New Life Furniture Bank, Walpole: 102 Elm St, Walpole, MA 02081. Processing furniture, receiving donations of furniture & household goods, and organizing in a warehouse setting.

Saint Anthony’s Shrine, Boston: 100 Arch St, Boston, MA 02110. Assisting with cleaning projects associated with the Shrine’s food pantry or organizing projects in some of the Shrine’s public hallways.

Blood donors: PLEASE NOTE: Children’s Hospital is not able to accommodate us with a Bloodmobile event this year. If you would like to donate blood, you can contact one of the following or the blood donation center of your choice. Then email Alumnae Director Vicky Thaler Cabot at [email protected] and let us know you donated. We’ll send you an International Serviam Day long-sleeve t-shirt!
