Valley Charter Elementary School Annual Giving Campaign

At Valley Charter Elementary School, we are committed to creating a learning environment where every student is known, supported, and given the opportunity to thrive. In addition to exceptional classroom instruction in core curricular areas, programs like field trips, music, yoga, art and the presence of full-time teaching assistants in every classroom enrich the learning experience and bring education to life.

These programs provide students with the opportunity to have tremendous experiences both inside and outside the classroom. Field trips allow them to engage directly with the world and participate in hands-on activities that deepen their understanding of the subjects they’re studying. Music instruction helps students develop creativity and discipline while exploring different forms of expression through sound. Yoga instruction helps students calm their minds and bodies, teaching them to be present in the moment, while art instruction fosters creativity and self-expression. With additional classroom support from teaching assistants, students benefit from more individualized instruction, ensuring they receive the attention they need to thrive academically.

However, these opportunities are only possible for VCES students with the support of our community. The state funding we receive covers the basics, but it’s your generosity that allows us to offer the extras that make VCES so unique. This year, we’re launching our 2024-2025 Annual Giving Campaign with the goal of raising $75,000. Every donation, no matter the size, has a direct impact on ensuring these enriching opportunities remain available for every student.
