October 10th-November 21st: Donate to Support Field Trips, Free After School Sports, and 8th Grade Graduation Activities!
Organizer
How will my Viper Fund donation be used?
Your donation will be used to fund field trips, special assembly speakers/groups, after school sports (new equipment, uniforms, coaches and league fees), and 8th grade special graduation activities (like grad night and culmination).
How do I make a one-time, lump sum donation?
- Click “Give Now”.
- Find your student’s fundraising page and choose the donation amount that is right for your family this fall.
- We encourage all families to make a meaningful gift this year and donate $150 or more per student this year so that we can fully fund field trips, after school sports, and special 8th grade graduations activities like Grad Night.
Smaller, monthly online donations are the right option for my family. How do I set up a recurring payment?
Smaller monthly or quarterly recurring donations make a BIG difference for VCMS fundraising.
Setting up a recurring online payment is easy: Click the “Give Now” button, find your student’s fundraising page, and check the “I want to make this a recurring donation” box. You will be prompted to set up a monthly, quarterly, semiannually or annual payment. Click here for more information.
How can my student raise money if donating a one-time lump sum payment or setting up a recurring payment aren't the right options for my family?
If donating a one-time lump sum payment of $150 or more, or setting up a recurring payment, aren’t the right options for your family, your student can raise money in two ways this fall to reach their goal:
Student-led fundraising: Your student has a unique URL and a donation envelope that they took home on October 10th. They can collect online donations, or cash/check donations in their envelope. ** Encourage them to ask your friends, family and neighbors** to make smaller donations ($10, $15, $20) to help them reach the $150 goal. If donors are making an online donation, after they click “Give Now”, ask them to search for your student by name to make sure that their donation is matched with your student.
Chocolate and Popcorn Sales: Buy a sales kit in the office and recoup your donation! Click here for more information. Learn about the “Path to $150”!
How do I make an online donation to my student?
Click the “Give Now” button at the top right of this page, type your student’s name, and select their name from the drop-down.
Do I have to donate with a credit card?
No! You can drop a cash or check donation off in either school office.
What is the student fundraising goal?
The student fundraising goal is $150.
If every student raises $150 or more, we will exceed our fundraising goal this fall! Learn about the different ways for families to acheive this goal.
How can friends, family and neighbors donate online to my student?
Share your student’s fundraising link! Search for their name after clicking the “Give Now” button at the top of the page. Copy and paste your student’s unique fundraising link into an email and send it to likely donors. All students were sent home with a QR code for their fundraising link with their donation envelope on October 10th. Need a new QR code to share? Visit the school office!
How do I purchase chocolate bar and popcorn sales kits?
Please visit the school office to purchase chocolate bar and popcorn sales kits.

I want to double my donation! What is Company Matching?
Many companies offer matching donations for non-profit gifts. Check with your company’s human resources department, and if they match donations, let them know that you plan to give to Valley Charter Schools this year. VCS is classified as a 501(C)3 non-profit organization and our Tax ID is 27-0174003. All donations are tax-deductible, and we will generate a donation receipt upon request for your yearly taxes. Click here to learn more.
When is fundraising for the Viper Fund over?
All donations must be collected by November 21st to be counted toward your student’s total fundraising.
