What made Williston special was how multi-talented the student body was. In other words, Williston was special because it fostered an environment where students identities as artists was just as important as their identities as athletes. The student-artist-athelete trium was what Williston excelled in. Although I’m a very recent alum, I worry that this quintessential aspect of Williston will lose importance. Please, make sure such a environment always exists at Williston in the forefront. It’s what makes it and us special!

My years were 1960-1963 which the system does not seem to take. I said yes to volunteering as this is my 60th. As a starting point, please send me a full class list including those living and deceased. If you have it, I would like to know what year those who are deceased passed. It is great to be back. The last time I was with you, I developed a bit of a position how green the buildings should/can be and that has kept me away. Allison Marsland is the reason we felt comfortable allowing our first son who attended Williston to be a boarder. She watched over our sons just as though they were her own children. Allison is not just faculty to us she will always be family. Williston's experience is new to us as our daughter is only in her first year, high school. However, we have been absolutely amazed by the love, kindness, joy and general care she has received and enjoyed from the great and loving administration ,wonderful teachers and amicable colleagues since she started there in September, 2022.
I wish I were in a position to donate much more but only this token of $100 we can afford right now given our limited wherewithal. However, we shall be making every effort to donate something every now and then as token of our deep appreciation that Williston has extended to our girl...It cannot be gainsaid, that she, too, is very, very appreciative for the opportunity that Williston has extended to her to hone her academic skills and realize her dreams about her future as she meets new friends and support systems.
